STABILO BASE is a stabilising vacuum posture / positioning seat cushion for people with pelvic deformities or asymmetry of the hips, it has been designed especially for people affected by:

• Cerebral palsy, particularly mild athetoid cerebral palsy and diplegic cerebral palsy
• Spina bifida
• People with high lower limb amputations

It allows an even distribution of pressure across the entire surface of the cushion and is perfectly fitted to the shape of the body. The pressure on the bearing surface is evenly distributed and it perfectly adheres to the body. It is contoured to provide optimal support, relief and comfort, also proving to be an excellent anti bedsore solution.

The precision-fit cushion can be shaped to your specific needs to form:

• A leg abduction wedge that can help reduce lower back pain, opening up the hip joint
• A wheelchair wedge cushion to prevent the user from sliding forward in the seat
