Heartway’s P35 Chase is the world’s first portable travel electric wheelchair made with carbon-fibre and aluminium alloy framing, and comfort seating. Our newest portable wheelchair has a weight capacity of 115kg and folds down to a compact unit in just a few motions. With the fastest quick release fold in the industry, all you have to do is lift a lever under the seat and push downwards – it only takes 2-3 seconds to fold to a fully compact size!
The wheelchair stands upright on its own, and has handles at the front on either side, making it perfect for loading and unloading from a car boot. Its lightweight construction makes it easy for one or two people to lift, and it can be easily tilted and pulled by one person on either side of the machine, by rolling it on the anti-tip wheels. Quick flip back armrests make it easier for users to get into and out of the wheelchair, and are also height adjustable at the push of a button for extra comfort. The wheelchair features a drop-down hand control that allows users to drive up close to tables, as well as a wider rear wheelbase for added stability. A strengthened footplate base means you can stand on it to help get in and out of the chair.
The P35 Chase also features an 11.5Ah lithium battery system integrated with a computer chip for advanced protection of the battery. The battery pack is fully removable and lockable, helping to prevent theft, while also making it easier to travel and charge separately. The battery comes with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to show airlines and cruise lines before you travel. A full undercarriage cover protects electronics, while a locking system on the scooter helps to protect it from theft.
