Companion Convertible Travel Folding Electric Wheelchair

The Companion Convertible is one of the most advanced portable wheelchairs in the world. It is the epitome of comfort, with an adjustable backrest, swing up footplate, and wide armrests that adjust up and down, forward and back.

The armrests can swing away, to fit the chair comfortably under a table. Free wheel mode can be activated from the wheel hub as well as at the rear of the motor, meaning you can stay seated to activate free wheel mode or engage the motors. This is the ideal wheelchair for users who value their independence!

A new sports mode hand control, with innovative safety features, sets the Companion Convertible apart from all others. The control panel is an incredible crystal LED display screen, with amazing advanced features such as:

• Five speed modes, as well as sports mode (low, normal, powerful)
• Battery charge displayed in percentage
• An SOS distress beeper function for emergency use, to draw attention
• Narration – the chair talks to the customer when a button is pressed, rather than just beeping
• Volume control of the buttons and system narration (soft, normal, loud)
• Back-light brightness control (bright, damp, off)
• Automatic shut-down function (battery saving option): decide if the chair shuts down after a few minutes in an idle state, or stays on
• Language selection of English or Chinese

The Companion Convertible comes with a single removable battery, making the chair lighter and easier to transport. The battery can be charged while in the chair, or removed to be charged separately. The battery is inbuilt with a BMS chip (Battery Management System), and comes with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) indicating its suitability for plane travel.

The Companion Convertible has been designed to meet Australian and NZ safety standards.
