The BeanSeat is a fully mouldable positioning seat that can be used to achieve a comfortable, symmetrical position for clients with complex seating needs. Through its size and shape it adapts to the body or, if necessary, enforces the desired position. The large surface area ensures that even with a substantial firmness, the user feels comfortable. The BeanSeat is ideal for users who suffer from spasticity, have reduced tone, scoliosis or have a lack of head control (as a headrest can be formed).

The design of the BeanSeat means that it can be used for creating a niche, used for rehabilitation exercises, can provide comfort and reduced anxiety through sensory feedback, and can be adapted in moments for changing requirements.

You can lay a patient in the sitting or semi-sitting position and can easily mould the seat shape as required – thereby a better body posture is possible.

The Stabilo stablising system works using vacuum preserving of a modelled shape. A special pump helps to deflate the cushion, allowing it to harden into the required shape. The shape and hardness can be changed easily. An electric pump is included with this cushion.

Easily moulded shape enables you to position the user in the right position during therapy, e.g. while working with a speech therapist, making it easier for the patient to participate in activities. The cushion is also an important element of strengthening the effects of physiotherapeutic rehabilitation by positioning the user in the desired, correct position.
Depending on the degree of hardening, the BeanSeat can act as a stiff seat or soft pouffe, allowing the user to be placed in a relaxed or more active position, depending on their needs and abilities.
